The commute from Rockwall for 9 years finally got us, so we moved back to Dallas in late 2007 and love having the extra time back.

We moved to the Forney/Terrell Texas area about 2003 from the Lake Highlands Area of Dallas. Built a new home, then two years ago we found a 100+ year old Plantation style home on 21 acres. We redid a lot before moving in but there are still many projects that just seem to pop up. I enjoy my three grown children. Chris is 30, married, two children, Rowlett, Engineer. Daniel 25, engaged, Commerce, Lab Tech. Stacy 23, single, Math Teacher in Mesquite. I keep myself busy with those house projects, gardening...my freezer is full, and substitute teaching. I love cooking in my gourmet kitchen, going to the beach at Port A with my daughter, cruises and I especially love having my family around me.

Susan and I had a new David Weekley home built in Dallas and have been in our new home for 3 months. It was fun watching our designed home being built and see the outcome. Susan works at Weir`s Furniture ( Knox and Hendserson) in Dallas and I am in the ministry. Two of our sons live in Oklahoma. Our yougest son, Chris has 2 sons and is a pastor (College) at Journey Church in Norman Oklahoma. He has over 600 OU students attending his services weekly. My middle son is with a medical placement Company in Edmond, Oklahoma and our oldest is finishing up at Universiity of North Texas and living in Dallas. My mother is 87 and doing great. Life is great and even if we are getting old, I am proud to be a Woodrow Wilson Wildcat.

I decided I had had enough and wanted to give back to the world. Boy, did I ever create my niche. I have been giving to the bone for the last ll years at our Alternative High School, teaching Art. The teachers call me a "Saint". I assure everyone that I have developed a horrible temper over the years. I have received Teacher of the Year twice and Humanitarian of the Year, which were great honors.
